National Implementation Body
The Department chairs the National Implementation Body (NIB),which was established to ensure delivery of the industrial relations stability and peace provisions of the PPF. The Body, representing Government, IBEC/CIF and ICTU, has intervened in a number of disputes seeking to encourage the parties concerned to use the industrial relations machinery of the State to resolve the matters at issue.
