Government appoints Second Secretary to Foreign Affairs
The Government today appointed Mr. Dermot Gallagher, former Ambassador in Washington, to be Second Secretary at the Department of Foreign Affairs, in charge of the Anglo-Irish Division.
Mr. Gallagher replaces Mr. Seán Ó hUiginn who has been appointed Ambassador to the United States of America.
