Announcement by Taoiseach, Mr. Bertie Ahern, T.D. in Dáil Éireann on Tuesday, 12 December, 2006

Today the Taoiseach, Mr Bertie Ahern TD, announced in the Dail “ that on 8th December I accepted the resignation from office of Deputy Silé de Valera, Minister of State at the Department of Education and Science.

“ In her place, the Government has today appointed Deputy Sean Haughey to be Minister of State at that Department.”
