Review of the Irish Annuities Market
The Government agreed to engage with employers and trade unions in a process to examine the operation of the annuity market in Ireland in the context of formulating a comprehensive approach to future pensions policy under Towards 2016. They were supported in that work by appropriate experts and relevant reports of the Pensions Board. As part of the process, an independent analysis of the current state of the Irish annuities market was overseen by the Partnership Pensions Review Group.
