4.      Review of Partnership and the evaluation of SMI in the Civil Service completed in February 2002.(1.4.1)

5.      Consultation document Towards Better Regulation launched by the Taoiseach in February 2002. (1.4.1.3)

6.      First draft of strategic document on the direction of partnership considered by the Partnership Forum on 9th April 2002. (1.4.3.1) 

Framework II

1.      Competition Law Bill signed into Law on 10 April 2002, as Competition Act, 2002. (2.1.7)

2.      NESC published its reports on Benchmarking the PPF and National Progress Indicators on 8 March 2002. (2.1.10)

3.      Public Transport Partnership Forum agreed its response to the consultative paper  A new Institutional Framework for Public Transport. (2.2.1)

4.      Cross Departmental Team on Infrastructure and PPPs published its Fourth Progress Report in April 2002. (2.3.2)

5.      State Authorities (PPP Arrangements) Bill 2001 signed by Presidential Council on 21 February 2002. (2.3.3)

6.      Waste Management Policy Statement Preventing and Recycling Waste: Delivering Change published on 12 March 2002. (2.8.4)

7.      The Gas (Interim) Regulation Bill, completed its passage through the Oireachtas on 28 March 2002. (2.10.2)

8.      Ratification of the Kyoto Protocol by Ireland was approved by Dail Eireann on 20 March 2002.(2.13.1)

1.      NAPS Framework and Document Building an Inclusive Society, a new strategy for tackling poverty and social exclusion launched on 27 February 2002. (3.1.1)

2.      Prevention Strategy for at risk groups leaving institutional care published on 27 February 2002.(3.7.3)

3.      Mental Health Commission established with effect from 5 April 2002.  (3.10.7)

4.      A National Traveller Health Strategy 2002-2005 was launched in February 2002. (3.10.11)

5.      Second annual report of the Monitoring Committee on implementation of the Report of the Commission on Nursing approved on 5 April 2002. (3.10.17)
