What does this law do?
This Act amends the Industrial Development Act 1993 by the insertion of a new Section 21A into the 1993 Act. The new Section gives legislative authority to the Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment to designate the transfer of staff from Shannon Development to Forfas. It also provides a guarantee that the pay, conditions of service and pension arrangements of staff who are so designated shall be in no way diminished by virtue of the transfer.
