No 39 of 2006 - Houses of the Oireachtas Commission (Amendment) Act 2006
What does this new law do?
This Act established the Houses of the Oireachtas Commission to administer the running of the Dáil and Seanad, and provided for funding for the Commission for the three years up to the end of 2006. The main purpose of this Amendment is to provide funding for the Commission to continue its work for the next three years up to the end of 2009. The Act provides for a maximum amount of €393m for the period.
