Taoiseach congratulates Bethany Firth on her win.

The Taoiseach has congratulated Bethany Firth on achieving Ireland's first gold medal, at the London 2012 Paralympic Games in London.

Bethany triumphed in the women's 100m Backstroke Final in the Aquatic Centre, London.

Taoiseach said, Bethany's impressive win is an inspiration to all young people, she has done her country, family, and Team Ireland proud.
I wish Bethany every success with her future swimming.
