HIGH COURT APPOINTMENT

The Government today (26 February) nominated Mr. Daniel O'Keeffe, Senior Counsel, for appointment by the President as a Judge of the High Court.

Mr O'Keeffe, BCL, LL.B., and A.C.A. (1974) has practised on the Dublin and South Western Circuits and specialised in Company Law and Tax Law. Mr. O'Keeffe has had wide experience in the areas of Administrative Law, Judicial Review, Commercial/Chancery Law, and general practice. He qualified as a barrister in 1964 and became a Senior Counsel in 1985.
