Taoiseach meets Swedish Prime Minister

Following yesterday's meeting in Helsinki with Prime Minister Vanhanen, the Taoiseach travels to Sweden to continue his meetings with EU Prime Ministers.

The Taoiseach will have consultations with PM Reinfeldt this morning.  Discussions are expected again to centre on the Lisbon Treaty, the international financial crisis and the climate change and energy package negotiations, as well as on Sweden’s priorities for the Presidency of the European Union which it is preparing to assume next July.

The Taoiseach will return to Dublin today.
