Taoiseach to attend European Council meeting.

The Taoiseach will tomorrow evening travel to Brussels for a meeting of the European Council.

The meeting has been called by the Swedish presidency to ensure a coordinated input by the EU into next weeks G20 meeting.

Discussions are expected to focus on improving international financial regulation to ensure that there is no repeat of the financial crisis, and on climate change, where the EU continues to lead in the build up to the December Copenhagen conference.
