Taoiseach Meets Top Political and Business Leaders in New York

The Taoiseach, Mr Brian Cowen TD, is continuing his economic mission to the United States today with meetings with top political and business leaders in New York.

The Taoiseach will hold meetings with key executives from the financial sector on Wall Street this morning, before meeting with New York Mayor Mike Bloomberg in the afternoon.

The Taoiseach will also meet with successful young Irish people based in New York who are part of the global Irish network.

His schedule also includes meetings with Irish companies who are creating new business in the US, as well as representatives of the IDA, Enterprise Ireland and Tourism Ireland.

This evening ( Tuesday ), the Taoiseach will meet with representatives of the Irish community from the New York area.
