Government appoints Ministers of State
The Government at its meeting today, on the nomination of the Taoiseach Enda Kenny TD, appointed Ministers of State and assigned them to Departments with the particular areas of responsibility set out below:

At its meeting last night, the Government appointed Paul Kehoe TD to be Minister of State at the Department of the Taoiseach and the Department of Defence with the responsibility of Chief Whip and Willie Penrose TD to be Minister of State attending the Government, with particular responsibility for Planning and Housing at the Department of the Environment, Community and Local Government.
